Attending the Nordic Summit in Oslo on Saturday, September 28th, was more than just a speaking engagement for Synapx, it was a chance to drive our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and community forward. I was honoured to present alongside Alexandre Baker Wong at the largest and only in-person conference in the Nordics dedicated exclusively to Microsoft’s Power Platform and Dynamics 365.

With a packed audience of eager professionals, this summit highlighted the latest advancements in our field and brought together key industry leaders, creating the perfect environment for knowledge sharing and growth.

The Event and Industry Leaders

The event was packed with engaging sessions and workshops that kicked off on Friday, setting the stage for the main conference on Saturday. Notable speakers like Franco Musso, Chris Huntingford, and Efran M. enriched the event with their expertise and insights. For those in the industry, these are respected voices whose work in Power Platform and Dynamics 365 shapes best practices and trends. Their presence highlighted the significance of the summit, giving attendees a unique chance to learn directly from the best minds in the field.

Synapx’s Presentation at the Nordic Summit

At the speakers’ dinner, it was a pleasure to reconnect with industry stalwarts. Conversations with Franco, Chris, and Efran, among others, were more than social interactions; they were knowledge exchanges, each offering invaluable perspectives that strengthened Synapx’s understanding and approach to Power Platform innovations.

Key Sessions and Insights

On Saturday, the main event featured standout talks, including “Unblock AI with Purview” by Chris Huntingford, “It’s Power Automate, Not Power Integrate” by Mats Necker, and “How to Break the Law in 10 Ways Designing Power Apps” by Carl Gustavsson. Each of these sessions showcased insights into Power Platform’s potential to redefine the way businesses operate.

In our own workshop, “Enhancing User Experience with Custom Model-Driven Apps,” Alexandre delivered a memorable message:

“User experience is at the heart of what we do. We do not want to be limited by the no-code / low-code technology; it’s about how we can make that technology work for the users and create an enriched experience with seamless interactions.”

His words resonated with the audience, reinforcing the importance of user-centric design, a principle that Synapx upholds in all our solutions.

Driving Innovation Through Engagement and Community

One of the highlights of the day was a lighthearted game show that challenged participants to pitch a Power Automate flow that would, humorously, get you fired. This interactive session broke down barriers, allowing attendees to connect on a more personal level while injecting humour into the learning experience.

As the evening wound down with a lively after-party, I reflected on how events like these reinforce the importance of community in our industry. The connections made, insights gained, and knowledge shared ensure that Synapx remains a leader in driving digital transformation and setting the standards for Power Platform solutions.
